A C. Bechstein Model B grand piano in a black high gloss case

This piano is from 1986 and was handbuilt in West Berlin - a very rare modern Bechstein instrument and not to be confused with the hundreds of antique Bechstein grand pianos on the market

Unlike most other German manufacturers, the post war Bechstein pianos were just as good as the pre war ones, if not better. This piano is not to be confused with the many decrepit pre war Bechsteins, made of old materials which aren't suitable for modern central heated homes (all pre war Bechsteins fall apart, for this reason we almost never buy them unless they have been fully restored). This is a modern instrument built from more suitable materials for modern homes, and remains in excellent structural condition with no issues
